Refer someone
If you’re interested in referring someone, please call 0161 834 1661 to book an enrolment appointment at our centre.
You can look on our website for timetables as well as updates and information about our services and the team.
All our learning programmes are for people who experience drug and alcohol problems, have criminal convictions, are homeless or vulnerably housed, or want to improve their mental health.
Enrolment appointments take about 45 minutes. We will find out a bit more about the person being referred, what their interests and goals are, how we can best support them and help to plan their learning. Support workers are welcome to come along to this meeting. People can usually start a course within a week.
Before making a referral to Back on Track, please make sure the person:
- understands the type of services we offer
- is comfortable to join group activities (with support at first if needed)
- can make their own way to and from the centre or arrange for a support worker to come with the person for an agreed length of time
We also run weekly welcome sessions every Tuesday at 1.30pm where people interested in enrolling and/or staff can find out more, have a brew and chat with staff and look around.
