Can I just come along and start attending courses?
+ -

We want to get you started at Back on Track as soon as possible. The first step is to have a 1:1 conversation with one of our team, so we can get to know you, find out what you want to achieve and how we can help you do that. Once you’re enrolled, you can choose courses from our current timetable or make an appointment for 1:1 support.

Do I need to bring anything with me when I enrol?
+ -

We have some forms that we’ll need to fill in with you. To do that it will help to have some proof of ID (e.g. bank card, passport, driver’s licence) and your National Insurance number. If you don’t have them, don’t worry – we can still go ahead with the enrolment.

I'm not sure you offer what I'm looking for. How can I find out?
+ -

Just pop in to to our Weekly Welcome session, every Tuesday 1.30pm, to find out more about what we do and how we can help you. There’s no need to book in advance. Just come along!

I can't afford to travel to the city centre. Is there anything you can do to help?
+ -

We can pay up to £5 per day in travel expenses to cover the cost of coming to our centre. Just make sure you keep your travel ticket or receipt, and we’ll reimburse you.

Can I get something to eat and drink when I'm there?
+ -

Yes! Our on-site cafe is open every day in term time, serving drinks, a range of tasty snacks, and a delicious main meal, prepared and served by our members and volunteers. When you come to enrol, we'll also give you a free tea or coffee!

How do I refer someone?
+ -

There’s no formal referral process. If you’re certain that they meet our eligibility criteria, then you can call our reception volunteers on 0161 8341661 to arrange an enrolment appointment. If you’re not sure, then they can come to our weekly welcome session.
