Great news: members of the Back on Track community have been nominated in two categories in the Manchester Adult Education and Skills Awards 2021.
Our Staying on Track newsletter team have been nominated for the group learning award. The newsletter was set up by a group of Back on Track learners to provide information, support and entertainment during lockdown, and it’s still going strong. The group learned to use the Canva design app to create the newsletter, picking up loads of new skills along the way. Meanwhile our brilliant GROW Trainee Lily has been nominated for the individual learning award. She says: “I’m loving working at Back on Track and the way we can make people feel good about themselves, that they’re able, and can achieve their ambitions. I really feel nurtured and supported to do well too. I was pleasantly surprised about the nomination, regardless of whether I win or not – it’s nice to be recognised.”
