Back on Track is running a three year work experience project, funded by the Big Lottery Fund’s Reaching Communities programme. The project started in April 2014, and we are running a range of activities which prepare service users for employment.

We currently offer the following activities:

Work experience taster day every week – our popular Work Experience Fridays, every week at our training centre

Vocational training programmes in specific sector areas with a short work placement, including Introduction to Catering and Hospitality

A range of workplace visits

A weekly Moving on Group, which includes guest speakers from local employers, mock interviews, advice and guidance and job search support from volunteer mentors

Since the project started 40 people have moved into paid work. Watch our short film about the value of work experience.
